Every year we look to magazines, our favorite media outlets and influencers to see what the latest trends are in fashion, interiors and technology. We have complied a list of the current trends in luxury interior design for 2025 that we are liking the most. All of us at Brenna Morgan Interiors are looking forward to using these trends in a home near you very soon!
Plaids are back in a big way! This pattern is truly timeless and is being used more and more in interiors. Look for large scale plaids on bigger furniture pieces like sofas and chairs while smaller scale plaids can be found on smaller items like lamp shades and pillows.
Rojo Marble is a beautiful and bold natural stone that can be seen on many accent pieces. This stone can range in color from a warm cinnamon color to a deep oxblood with white veining. It is a beautiful accent to add warmth and interest to a space.
Bold Florals are going to be very prominent in 2025. These large scale and colorful patterns add a bit of whimsy to interior spaces. You’ll find them used in both accent pieces or as the cornerstone of a rooms décor. Just as color drenching a room was all the rage in 2023, floral pattern drenching will be the rage in 2025.
Deep Brown has always been one of my favorite colors and now it is taking interiors by storm. Warm, deep brown colors are being used on walls and on furniture pieces. Lighter, natural stained wood is being replaced by richer, darker stain colors.
Feminine Details are popping up more and more. Scalloped edges on both upholstery and case goods, fringe details on upholstery and drapery and dainty patterns like small scale florals or block print can be seen on furniture. Pastel colors like lilac or mint add to the femininity of these furnishing.
While I typically advise people to steer clear of design trends, many of these can be incorporated for a timeless look. Not sure how to bring them into your space? Contact us and we can help. Now booking clients for February 2025!
