A professional interior designer knows where to find high quality interior products. – The design of a house’s interior includes the choice of wall paint, furniture, floor material, cabinetry, wallpaper, and lighting. With no experience, it will be a hassle to locate vendors that sell and install those interior elements.  We, as designers, have a list of all of these service providers and vendors that we have used in the past so that we can easily assist in navigating your design plan.
4. Interior designers are well versed in space planning.  – Sometimes it seems as though we are creating more space from thin air.  Spoiler alert!  We are not.  We just look at plans and rooms differently.  We can see where we can squeeze additional storage or how cabinetry can be rearranged, etc.
