Are you planning to reimagine a space in your home this year? We are happy to help! But first it is important to know how we work. So here is a brief overview of our design process and some answers to other questions you may have.
Getting started…. After you fill out our inquiry form (located here) and we chat by phone, we will schedule a time to come to your home and measure, take photos and talk through your desires for your space. Once we do that we will provide you with a preliminary estimate, including design fees and furnishings, about 2 weeks after our meeting.
Once the estimate is accepted and the design agreement signed, we will begin gathering ideas and putting together design plans. We will contact our contractors to get estimates on any labor your project may need. We will get together again about 2 weeks after the design agreement is signed to go over all of this and make revisions.
We do one round of revisions to create your perfect design plan. We will meet again about a month after your provide us with your desired revisions to go over your design. At this time you will be presented with costs specific to the items chosen.
Once you accept the design plan we collect the cost for furnishings and place orders. Depending on the manufacturer, it can take anywhere for 8-20 weeks for furniture to arrive. During that time we will keep you updated on the tracking of your products and have any of our contractors come in to complete work prior to delivering furniture. When all is complete and we have your furniture at our warehouse, we will deliver and install it all so you can get your big reveal!
What do you charge? Lots of people ask how we charge. We charge a flat fee so that there are no surprises. You know exactly what you are paying up front.
Where do you get your furniture from? We get our furnishings from Trade Only vendors that we trust for quality and customization. Only the best will do for our clients!
Can I be involved in the process? Of course! It is your home and you have to love it! Although we do ask that you refrain from doing your own shopping. Bringing in a new lamp or chair can completely throw off the design plan and you will not get the best result.
